Why Holly teaches

Because good antenatal education changes how prepared you feel.

As a Midwife who has cared for hundreds of families, Holly has seen first-hand the difference good antenatal education can make.

When parents understand what may happen during labour, birth and the early days with their baby, they often feel calmer, more confident and able to make informed decisions.

Holly believes antenatal education should be accurate, balanced and grounded in real maternity care. Her classes are taught from the perspective of a qualified Midwife, combining evidence-based information with practical insight from years of supporting families through pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal recovery.

The goal is not to teach you that there is one "right" way to give birth. It is to help you understand your options, feel prepared for different possibilities, and approach birth with more confidence and less fear.

Calm, honest and empowering

Support without judgement.

Parents often describe Holly as honest, empowering and non-judgemental. She has a gentle but clear teaching style.

Her approach is warm, practical and realistic. You will not be told what you "should" do. Instead, Holly will help you understand what may happen, what your choices may be, and how to feel more confident making decisions that are right for you, your baby and your circumstances.

Whether you are hoping for a home birth, a water birth, an active birth, an epidural, a planned caesarean, or you simply have no idea yet, Holly's classes are designed to support you without judgement.
